Jen Daniels, Property Manager for Mt. Pleasant

We want to extend a very warm welcome to our newest member of the Rent Charleston team. Jen is our Mt. Pleasant professional and comes to us with a lot of experience. We are excited to have her on our roster.

John Liberatos-Chief Executive Officer

A native of Charleston going back several generations, John has been in real estate and property management for over 20 years. John is active on many Boards such as President of The Committee To Save The City, MLS Board of Directors and Professional Standards Committee at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors just to name a few. John is in charge of corporate development at the Broad Street office. John is an avid runner, cyclist and triathlete.

Joyner Beasley- Chief Operating Officer

Prior to becoming COO of rentcharleston.com, Joyner was the President of Shellwater Properties. Joyner graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Marketing and Communications. Joyner and her team is the point of contact for all new property owners. Joyner is highly skilled in marketing and property optimization for owners. She primarily works in the marketing office at 35 Broad Street. Joyner and her husband have 2 young children and enjoy the Lowcountry lifestye.

James Glasgow- President

As President of operations, James Glasgow is in charge of all day to day operations. James has been in charge of a number of companies prior to taking the reins at rentcharleston.com. James is an expert at managing properties to their optimum use and has a vast knowledge of homeowner associations and regimes including master deeds. He works primarily in the main office at 89 1/2 Wentworth Street. A scratch golfer and avid hunter, James likes to spend his time outdoors.

Chad Hinkle-Property Manager

Emerson Read, Jr.-Property Manager

Emerson Read has been a local property manager for over 30 years and is considered one of the most knowledgeable property managers in the state. Emerson focuses primarily on repairs and maintenance follow up and works at the rentjamesisland.com office located at 501 Folly Road. Emerson and his wife Tonya are native Charlestonians and reside on James Island.

John Glover-Property Manager

John Glover is a previous business owner who has taken the helm of our rentwnc.com office located on Main Street in Hendersonville, NC. An avid cyclist and triathlete, John Glover brings the rentcharleston.com system to the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Mary Stuart Dawson – Marketing Director

Mary Stuart Dawson has over 11 years in property and Homeowner Association management and currently serves as the Marketing Director for rentcharleston.com. Mary Stuart, a native Charlestonian, works in the marketing office at 35 Broad Street. Mary Stuart is an outdoor enthusiast.

Jack Kelly-Leasing Specialist

Jack Kelly specializes in drafting and completing leases for new tenants. Jack works in the main office, located in the heart of the historic Charleston, at 89 1/2 Wentworth Street. A graduate of James Madison University, Jack has been in Charleston for several years, loves to exercise and is a voracious reader.

Steve Benson-Maintenance

A native of New Hampshire, Steve Benson has been a licensed contractor for over 25 years and has vast experience in just about every contractor trade. Steve’s friendly disposition and easy conversation makes him a fun person to have make repairs. Steve procures his list of repairs via his iPad mini. Repair requests are filtered though the main office by calling 843-723-1988 or emailing repair requests from our website or tenant login.

Ray Rice-Maintenance

Ray is a vastly knowledgeable contractor who has been a member of the maintenance staff at rentcharleston.com for nearly a year. Ray procures his list of repairs via his iPad mini. Repair requests are filtered though the main office by calling 843-723-1988 or emailing repair requests from our website or tenant login.

Tim McCrary-Landscaping

A native of Charleston, Tim McCrary is the Landscaping Director for rentcharleston.com. His main office is at our 501 Folly Road office but he is usually out in the field. Tim has an easy personality to like and is always willing to lend a hand.
